Nationality: To be eligible, a candidate must fall into one of the following categories:
(a) An Indian citizen
(b) A Nepali subject
(c) A Bhutanese subject
(d) A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India prior to January 1, 1962, with the intention of establishing permanent residence
(e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
