India, as we know, is a vast sub-continent with people of diverse cultures, customs, and traditions. Amidst these diversities, we have the feeling of oneness. This is unique for India amazing the world India's North-East has stolen the limelight of being a region of ethnic diversities in respect of traditions, cultures, and way of life. This entire region is the gateway to South-East Asia. But proper development of these naturally charming regions has still remained a cry to be headed. ... Motivation and eagerness for development are to be augmented as well as time-bound action plans are to be formulated. Administrative efficiency coupled with dedication, sincerity, and spirit of development will be the key factor for overall development i.e. infrastructure, communication, and human resource. We have to have dedicated All India Civil Service (IAS) officers apart from state service officers who can be vested with the onerous responsibilities of the development of this region. We are to produce the officers from our soils who will better understand the problems of the backward region. The Govt. of India's "Act East Policy' will go for its success only when these officers can be produced and put into action. But it is also to be kept in mind that in this age of competition, fruitful training and coaching are extremely essential to go for UPSC and APSC examinations which have become tougher and tougher day by day. With a sober objective to provide good coaching and training to young willing generations of this region, Borthakur's IAS Academy was set up in 2014.
