This magnanimous event which was broadcasted on ABC, in the United States, was supervised and
carried forth by the producer, Raj Kapoor, Molly McNearney and Katy Mullan, alongside director

Jimmy Kimmel for the fourth time, who previously hosted the 89th ceremony of the same event

No win for amongst the list of winners for Indian Cinema
This extravagant and magnanimous one of a kind award ceremony has always been predominantly
well anticipated by all the producers, directors, film makers and all the other professionals who are
very much deeply involved and passionately associated with the Film Industry. Whist everyone
anticipates their win amongst the list of all the other revered winners , this year , the Indian Cinema
unfortunately was unable to profess their professional talent and calibre towards grabbing their
significance amongst the best of the best. India faced a tremendously significant setback, as the
Canadian Documentary, titled “ To Kill a Tiger”, directed by the Indian- born Canadian filmmaker and
director Nisha Pahuja, lost in the category of Best Documentary Feature Film. Whilst her loss is truly
a major blow and setback towards the nation, the very fact that it was blessed to even receive a
nomination, surely, indeed, is a matter of huge prominence for the Film Enthusiasts and Pahuja fans
worldwide.
Oppenheimer grabs massive wins
One of the most highly celebrated movie of all time , Oppenheimer surely was able to sweep top
spots last year for its immaculate prowess in terms of its exquisite cinematography, plot and
impressive production quality. But interestingly, this movie came very much in hot waters with yet
another hit movie Barbie, starred by Margot Robbie and America Fareira which significantly resulted
into an enthralling trend which came to be known as the Barbenheimer. A trend which seemingly
shifted all movie loving fans into two completely opposite and competing sides that either supported
Barbie or Oppenheimer. The fact that both the popular movies decided to release their films on the
same day surely was the most genius marketing strategy that catapulted both of their sales as it
directly influenced and targeted the very essence of the psychological nuances of all movie lovers.
Both of the greatest movies witnessed immaculate Box Office collections worldwide however, the
Oscars , much like most of the other film critics of the world chose to present The movie
Oppenheimer with most of the revered awards. As Christopher Nolan was finally successful to break
off his 22 year jinx of the Academy Awards and swept off taking away all the awards for Best Director,
Best Film , Best Picture, Best Actor in a Leading Role and his first ever Oscar of his life home.
Oppenheimer explores an incredible and dramatic narrative portrayal about the American Physicist J.
Oppenheimer and his contribution towards the nuclear industry. Nolan, with his artistic prowess,
outshines his own technicality experimentation of direction with acute sense of perfectly arranged
representation of all the multidimensional facets of a film that are correlated with all the objectives
and subjectives.
